1 Scope

Information supplied in this part of GB/T 9978 is advisory and is intended to provide guidance on the use of fire-resistance test method and test data application.
This part of GB/T 9978 also identifies a number of areas where future editions may benefit by research: into phenomena associated with the performance of test assembly under test and its relationship with actual building construction; and into technology related to the test instrument and test method.

The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this part of GB/T 9978, constitute provisions of this part. For dated reference, subsequent amendments to (excluding corrigenda), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, all parties coming to an agreement according to this part are encouraged to study whether the latest edition of these documents applies.
