Scope

This part of GB/T9996 specifies the yarn appearance quality blackboard inspection method for the yarn appearance quality and appearance quality shown on the blackboard compared with the standard sample. This part uses the separate evaluation method to evaluate the yarn evenness on the blackboard and the total number of neps and impurities. This part applies to carded and combed pure cotton yarns, cotton and chemical fiber blended yarns for ring spinning machine weaving and knitting. This section does not apply to woolen yarns.
