Introduction
Background and Significance of the Standard
In order to address the problems of overcapacity and quality decline in my country's cotton processing industry, the National Supply and Marketing Cooperatives issued the GH/T 1372-2022 standard, which establishes a quantitative evaluation system:
- Promote the renewal of processing equipment and the elimination of obsolete production capacity
- Strengthen the standardized management of procurement and processing links
- Build a quality management mechanism of "enterprise autonomy + industry self-discipline + government supervision"

Technical requirements for key equipment
Standards for main machine for fine cotton processing
Saw blades of saw gin ≥ 96, nominal force of hydraulic baler ≥ 4000kN, processing capacity of seed cotton cleaner ≥ 8000kg/h
Inspection equipment requirements
Must be equipped with a grading room lighting system that complies with GB/T 13786, as well as 8 types of basic testing equipment such as trial rolling mill and moisture regain tester
Evaluation implementation points
- Evaluation process: Application→Preliminary review of materials→On-site review (3-person expert group)→Result announcement
- Grading: AAA (≥90 points), AA (80-89 points), A (70-79 points), B (60-69 points), C (<60 points)
- Validity period: 3 years, subject to annual supervision and evaluation
Enterprise improvement suggestions
- Prioritize upgrading of key equipment such as foreign fiber cleaning machine
- Establish a complete "one test and six determinations" seed cotton purchase record system
- Regularly carry out professional and technical training for inspection personnel
- Control the dust concentration in the working area to ≤8mg/m³
