Key Technical Points
The specification clearly requires that NFC devices must use the SM series algorithms approved by the National Cryptography Administration, among which:
- Symmetric algorithm: SM4 supports two working modes, CTR/CBC, and the test needs to verify more than 3 groups of key vectors
- Asymmetric algorithm: SM2 signature verification must comply with GB/T 32918.3 standard curve parameters
- Random number generation: Required to pass GB/T 32915 1000 sample detection
Test topology architecture
The standard defines 4 typical test scenarios:
- Sender A+TTP mode: Need to connect reference device B and auxiliary device TTP synchronously (Figure 1 topology)
- Receiver B independent mode: Only reference device A is required to complete the protocol handshake (Figure 4 topology)
Actual case: A payment terminal needs to additionally verify the certificate chain transfer function of ternary peer-to-peer architecture (TePA) in TTP mode.
Implementation suggestions
Testing agencies should focus on:
- Build an automated test platform that complies with GM/T 0042-2015
- Verify the anti-replay attack of the MAC tag in the NEAU-S protocol
- Retain the original interactive data packet for compliance audit
