Scope
This standard is compiled based on the practical experience in the production of high-strength alloy steel cylindrical parts in our aircraft manufacturing plant. Its basic size series is a total of 35 types of deep hole boring tools with diameters of 50 to 150 mm, which should be given priority. In order to expand the scope of use of this standard and consider the need for processing dimensions between processes, based on the basic size series, an auxiliary size series was compiled using the simple method of adding spacers, which is used to process any integer within the diameter range of 51 to 149 mm. diameter sizes are available. Consumable parts are also separately listed as standard and can be ordered directly. This standard applies to rough machining and semi-finishing on deep hole machine tool equipment or modified deep hole machine tool equipment.
