Scope

This part specifies the principles, reagents, instruments, sample preparation, analysis steps, calculation of analysis results, tolerances and quality control and requirements for the determination of silicon content in high-temperature alloys using silicon-molybdenum blue absorption photometry. This section applies to the determination of silicon (including acid-insoluble silicon) content in high-temperature alloys. Measuring range: 0.05% ~ 1.00%.
