Scope
This document describes a cadmium-titanium electrodeposition process containing 0.1 to 0.7% titanium. The coating obtained by this process has low hydrogen embrittlement properties. This standard is applicable to the protection of high-strength steel parts with a heat treatment strength of 130<σb≤200kgf/square millimeter. This process is primarily developed for electroplating high-strength steel parts. Cadmium-titanium coating is only suitable for parts with operating temperatures below 230°C.
