Scope

This standard specifies the process for tungsten arc welding of high temperature alloys. This standard applies to manual and automatic tungsten argon arc welding of high temperature alloys with a thickness of less than or equal to 4 mm. It also applies to tungsten argon arc welding of different material combinations such as high temperature alloys and stainless steel.
