Scope

This part specifies the principle reagents, instruments, sample preparation, analysis steps, calculation of analysis results, tolerance and quality control and requirements for the determination of iron content in aluminum alloys using the sensitive reagent photometric method. This section applies to the determination of calcium content in aluminum alloys. Measuring range: 0.010% ~ 0.060%.
