Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of vinyl chloride polymerization reactors (hereinafter referred to as polymerization reactors). This standard is applicable to steel polymerization kettles with a design pressure of full vacuum to 2.5MPa, an inner diameter of greater than or equal to 0.15m, and a volume of greater than or equal to 0.025m for the production of polyvinyl chloride resin through the polymerization of vinyl chloride units. Other reaction pressure vessels with similar media can also refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to glass-lined mixing vessels.
