Scope

This standard specifies the classification, performance requirements and test methods for rubber hoses used for loading, unloading and transporting petroleum-based products that are liquid at normal temperatures and pressures on the dock side of ships. This standard applies to rubber hoses used for loading and unloading on the dock side of ships for transporting petroleum-based products that are liquid under normal temperature and pressure. Not applicable to hoses made of flexible metal linings and hoses designed for offshore use. The hose is suitable for use within the temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
