本标准规定了评价橡胶或塑料涂覆织物耐剪切屈挠磨擦性能的两种方法,即方法A和方法B。

Scope

This standard specifies two methods for evaluating the shear, flexion and friction resistance of rubber or plastic-coated fabrics, namely Method A and Method B. Method A uses a presser foot to apply force to the specimen. Method B does not apply force from the presser foot. It is friction caused by simple contact between specimen surfaces. Method B is more suitable for situations where the specimen is damaged due to the friction of the presser foot, such as materials with sticky surfaces and materials coated with a thin layer of polyurethane on rough surfaces. This test may be performed on the product as delivered or on the product after pretreatment such as soaking or accelerated aging. Note: The results measured using Method A and Method B cannot be compared because there is no correspondence between them.
