Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for pure rubber hoses and rubber hoses used in fuel systems using liquid fuels containing oxygenated compounds such as ethanol (excluding equipment used for liquid fuel distribution). These hoses and pure hoses are used in conventional carburetor systems where the fuel is unlikely to be oxidized, and have moderate resistance to oxidation (acidic) fuels.
