Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation conditions for preheated negative thermal imaging (CTP) plates. This standard applies to preheated negative-image thermosensitive (CTP) plates made of an aluminum plate base as a support and coated with a heat-sensitive layer. It is used for plate making using a thermal computer direct plate making machine using a wavelength of 830nm as the plate making light source.
