Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, working parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of electrodeionization pure water preparation devices (hereinafter referred to as EDI devices). This standard is applicable to different types of EDI devices with different operating parameters where the reverse osmosis treated water (or water of equivalent quality) is the incoming water.
