本标准规定了涂料用醇酸树脂的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装和贮存等内容。
本标准适用于由多元酸和脂肪酸(或油)与多元醇缩聚而成的涂料用溶剂型醇酸树脂。本标准也适用于为获得特定的性能而改性的涂料用醇酸树脂，常用的改性剂包括松香、酚醛树脂、苯乙烯、异氰酸酯、聚酰胺、丙烯酸、环氧树脂或有机硅化合物等。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of alkyd resins for coatings. This standard applies to solvent-based alkyd resins for coatings formed by the condensation polymerization of polybasic acids and fatty acids (or oils) and polyhydric alcohols. This standard also applies to alkyd resins for coatings that are modified to obtain specific properties. Commonly used modifiers include rosin, phenolic resin, styrene, isocyanate, polyamide, acrylic acid, epoxy resin or organic silicon compounds.
