Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) films. This standard applies to films made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) pellets through calendering, casting, film blowing, coating and other processes. The film can be used in industries such as clothing, shoes, luggage, medical supplies, automotive products, electronics and inflatable products.
