Scope

This standard specifies an ion chromatography method for the determination of sulfuric acid mist in waste gas from stationary pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfuric acid mist in waste gas from fixed pollution sources. To measure organized exhaust gas, when the sampling volume is 0.40 m3 (standard state), the fixed volume is 100 ml, and the injection volume is 25 µl, the method detection limit is 0.2 mg/m3 and the lower determination limit is 0.80 mg/m3. To measure fugitive exhaust gas, when the sampling volume is 3.0 m3 (standard state), the constant volume is 50.0 ml, and the injection volume is 25 µl, the detection limit of the method is 0.005 mg/m3, and the lower determination limit is 0.020 mg/m3. 2
