Scope

The internal standards, substitutes and standard solutions used in the test are volatile toxic compounds, and the solution preparation process should be performed in a fume hood; protective equipment should be worn in accordance with regulations to avoid contact with skin and clothing. Scope: This standard specifies a headspace/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of volatile organic compounds in soils and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 36 volatile organic compounds in soil and sediments. If verified, this standard can also be applied to the determination of other volatile organic compounds. When the sample amount is 2g, the detection limit of the method for 36 target substances is 0.8~4μg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 3.2~14μg/kg.
