Scope

This standard specifies the general principles, content, methods and technical requirements for environmental impact assessment of steel construction projects. This standard applies to new steel construction projects, expansions and technical transformations. This standard does not apply to the environmental impact assessment work of construction projects of independent coking enterprises, non-main projects in the steel industry, and metallurgical mining and mineral processing construction projects in the steel industry. The planned environmental impact assessment of steel enterprises can be implemented as a reference.
