Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard applies to polyester production and construction projects using PTA and EG as raw materials. It clearly requires that the production load must reach more than 75% during acceptance, and stipulates the monitoring methods for pollution factors such as waste gas, wastewater, and solid waste.


Key pollution source control requirements

Technology evolution comparison

Compared with the 2000 version of the standard, the following new features are added: online monitoring equipment installation requirements, hazardous waste management clauses throughout the process, and strengthening of fugitive emission control.


Implementation suggestions

  1. Standardized treatment of sewage outlets must be completed before acceptance
  2. Phase-based construction projects should implement phased acceptance
  3. Focus on polyester unit vacuum system leak detection
