本标准规定了地表水环境质量监测的布点与采样、监测项目与分析方法、监测数据处理、质量保证与质量控制、原始记录等内容。
本标准适用于江河、湖泊、水库和渠道等地表水的水环境质量手工监测。
Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
The 2022 version of the standard replaces the surface water monitoring part of HJ/T 91-2002. The main revisions include:
| Dimensions | 2002 version | 2022 version |
|---|---|---|
| Appendix system | No special appendix | Added total phosphorus pretreatment (normative appendix A) and sampling record form (informative appendix B) |
| Monitoring scope | Including river basin monitoring | Delete river basin monitoring and focus on rivers, lakes, reservoirs and channels |
| Technical details | Basic requirements | Refine the sampling rules for tidal rivers and clarify the salinity 2‰ demarcation standard |
Analysis of core technical requirements
4.1 Principles of site layout
The monitoring section setting must meet the following requirements:
- Spatial representativeness: reflect the overall water quality of the region (the background section is >5km away from the pollution source)
- Technical feasibility: give priority to the use of existing bridges and other structures, and sample at 1/2 the water depth when the water depth is less than 0.5m
- Quality control: the control section must cover more than 80% of the total pollution capacity of the river section
TurbidimeterApplication case: When the turbidity of raw water is >500NTU, it is necessary to use 2000r/min centrifugation for 2 minutes to process the total phosphorus sample
5.2 Selection of analytical methods
Priority order:
- Methods specified in standards such as GB 3838
- Other national/industry standard methods with a detection limit lower than 1/3 of the standard limit
- Proven new technologies (record required)
Implementation recommendations
Key points for tidal river monitoring
Special attention should be paid to:
- Sampling at low tide (salinity <2‰)
- Add a control section upstream of the bridge and lock
- Re-deployment of points when qualified samples cannot be obtained for a long time
Key nodes for quality control
| Steps | Requirements | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Sampling equipment blank | Below method detection limit | 3% per batch |
| On-site parallel samples | RSD≤20% | 1 group per batch |
| Full procedure blank | No target detected | 1 per batch |
