本标准适用于环境空气中气态汞的测定。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Technical parameters | 60 minutes sampling | 24 hours sampling |
|---|---|---|
| Sampling volume | 660L | 1440L |
| Method detection limit | 2ng/m³ | 0.1ng/m³ |
| Lower limit of determination | 8ng/m³ | 0.4ng/m³ |
Key technical principles
Gaseous mercury in the ambient air is collected by a gold film enrichment tube, and mercury forms gold amalgam on the surface of the gold film. After sampling, the enrichment tube is heated and resolved at above 600℃, and the mercury vapor is brought into the cold atomic absorption spectrophotometer by the carrier gas, and the absorbance is measured at the characteristic wavelength of 253.7nm.
Key points for standard implementation
Typical interference elimination scheme
Connecting a buffer wash bottle (containing phosphate buffer pH=6.8) and a water removal buffer bottle in series in the atomic absorption pipeline can effectively eliminate the interference of acidic and alkaline gases and water vapor. Experiments have shown that this scheme can stabilize the recovery rate between 85%-115%.
Quality Assurance System
| Control Items | Requirement Standards | Disposal Measures |
|---|---|---|
| Dynamic Capture Efficiency | ≥95% | Regularly replace gold film particles |
| Working Curve Verification | Midpoint Deviation≤10% | Re-establish the Curve |
| Relative Deviation of Parallel Samples | ≤20% | Check the Sampling System |
Background of Standard Evolution
This standard was first published in 2017, replacing the traditional gas chromatography method (HJ/T38-1999). Compared with the old method, the gold film enrichment technology reduces the detection limit by more than 10 times and effectively solves the problem of particulate interference. Test data from 6 verification units showed that the relative standard deviation between laboratories was ≤6.7%.
Operation Warnings
The experiment must be carried out in a fume hood and the operator must wear protective equipment. Mercury-containing waste liquid should be preserved with 5% potassium dichromate nitric acid fixative and entrusted to a qualified unit for processing. The gold film enrichment tube is not suitable for oil fume and oil mist environments.
