Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of cold cathode ionization vacuum gauges. This standard applies to cold cathode ionization vacuum gauges (hereinafter referred to as vacuum gauges) used in conjunction with Penning-type, magnetron-type and reverse-magnetron-type cold cathode ionization gauges (hereinafter referred to as gauges) measuring pressures greater than 1×10 Pa.
