Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of fluorescent lamps for explosive gas environments (hereinafter referred to as fluorescent lamps). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of fluorescent lamps. Fluorescent lamps are used for lighting in factories with explosive gas environments and corrosive media.
