Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lightweight belt conveyors for finished goods (hereinafter referred to as belt conveyors). This standard applies to light belt conveyors that work indoors and transport general-purpose finished items. This standard does not apply to light belt conveyors transporting toxic, harmful, flammable, explosive, highly corrosive and radioactive items.
