Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard replaces the JC 350-83 version and specifies the technical requirements of phosphate-bonded high-alumina bricks in cement kiln systems. According to the requirements of different parts of thermal equipment, the products are divided into two series: phosphate bricks (P) and aluminum phosphate wear-resistant bricks (PA), among which the lock-seam bricks are separately marked as PC models.

Product application scenario analysis

Take Φ4.0m rotary kiln as an example, it is necessary to use P16 type brick (inner diameter matching 4.0-4.2m):

  • Key control points: hot surface chip depth ≤10mm, crack width ≤0.5mm

Standard evolution and innovation

Compared with the 1983 version of the standard, the main improvements of JC 350-93 are reflected in:

  1. Added aluminum phosphate wear-resistant bricks category to adapt to higher wear conditions
  2. Refine the dimensional tolerance system, and increase the difference error of the first-class head from ±1.5mm to ±1mm
  3. Improve the quantitative indicators of appearance defects, such as graded control of crack width

Implementation suggestions

Manufacturers need to pay special attention to:

  • Raw material control: the Al₂O₃ content of high-alumina bauxite clinker needs to be stable at more than 75%
  • Heat treatment process: 400-600℃ temperature range needs to be precisely controlled
  • Quality identification: Each brick must be permanently marked with hot surface mark
