Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of tempered glass for range hoods. This standard applies to tempered glass for household range hoods. The requirements for glazed tempered glass for range hoods only apply to tempered glass for range hoods using high-temperature glazes.
