Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of metal-faced phenolic foam sandwich panel products for construction. This standard applies to phenolic foam sandwich panels for exterior walls, partitions, roofs, and ceilings of industrial and civil buildings that are factory-produced with color-coated steel plates as surface layers. Other uses may refer to this standard.
