Colored stone metal tiles are a new type of roofing material that uses hot-dip aluminum-zinc steel plates as substrates and is compounded with colored stone particles through environmentally friendly adhesives. This standard systematically regulates its technical requirements, test methods and acceptance rules for the first time.

Raw material requirements

• Substrate thickness ≥0.4mm, coating ≥80g/m² (measured allowable deviation ±0.02mm)
• Basalt-based sintered materials are preferred for colored stone particles, and quartz sand is prohibited
• The VOC content of the adhesive must comply with GB 18583

Key points of process control

1. The coverage of colored stone must reach 100%, and the deviation of particle distribution uniformity must be ≤5%
2. The composite pressure must be controlled in the range of 0.5-0.8MPa
3. Curing temperature maintained at 120±5℃ for 30 minutes

Weathering test

According to GB/T 16259, 1000h accelerated aging is carried out. Special attention should be paid to the following:

• Irradiance is controlled at 500-600W/m²
• Black standard temperature is 65±3℃
• Water spraying cycle is 18min/102min

Key parameters of load-bearing test

Design application guidance

It is recommended to use main tile (ZW) specifications of 1340×420mm and overlap length ≥75mm when the roof slope is ≥15°; in typhoon-prone areas, products with a base plate thickness of ≥0.45mm should be selected.

Key points for construction acceptance

1. Every 5,000 sheets are accepted as a batch, and 50 sheets are randomly selected for initial inspection
2. Focus on checking the sealing of nail holes (water injection test)
3. Color difference detection should be carried out under D65 standard light source

Compared with the 2008 version of industry practice, this standard:

• Added freeze-thaw cycle resistance (20 times) and acid and alkali resistance (48h) indicators
• Increased the salt spray test time from 500h to 1000h
• Specified that the combustion performance must reach B1 level
