Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of oil-impregnated cotton and hemp sealing fillers. This standard is applicable to oil-soaked cotton and linen sealing packings of pipelines, valves, rotating shafts, and piston rods of reciprocating pumps with a medium ultimate pressure of 12MPa and a temperature below 120°C.
