本标准规定了玻璃纤维增强水泥波瓦及其脊瓦的分级、分类、规格与标记、原材料、技术要求、试验访求、检验规则、标志、运输与贮存。
本标准适用于以耐碱玻璃纤维为增强材料，快硬硫铝酸盐水泥或低碱度硫铝酸盐水泥为胶凝材料制成的玻璃纤维增强水泥波瓦、半波瓦及覆盖屋脊的“人”字形脊瓦。
玻璃纤维增强水泥中波瓦和半波瓦主要用于房屋建筑的屋面、内外墙及轻型复合屋顶的承重板。
