Introduction
Standard Revision Background and Technological Evolution
JC/T 941-2016 is a technical upgrade of the 2004 version, primarily responding to the increased performance requirements for glass fiber reinforced plastic pultruded profiles in the building door and window industry. The new standard adds polyurethane/phenolic resin substrates and introduces lamination/coating surface treatments, reflecting technological advancements in composite materials' weather resistance and decorative properties.
Comparative Analysis of Core Parameters
| Performance Indicators | Requirements of the 2004 Edition | New Requirements of the 2016 Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Resin Type | Unsaturated polyester only | Added four resins: PU/EP/VE/PF |
| Tensile Strength | Not specified | Polyurethane profiles ≥600MPa |
| Test Items | 9 items | Increased to 16 items (including aging test) |
Analysis of Key Technical Requirements
1. Dimensional Accuracy Grading
The standard proposes for the first time a dual-grade system of general precision (G) and high precision (H), with the circumscribed circle diameter D as the dividing line:
- When D ≥ 45mm: High precision straightness ≤ 1.5mm/m
- When D < 45mm: Wall thickness deviation ±0.15mm
2. Breakthrough in Mechanical Properties
Polyurethane profiles achieve breakthrough indicators of longitudinal tensile strength ≥ 600MPa and elastic modulus ≥ 40GPa, which are three times higher than traditional UP profiles and meet the wind pressure resistance requirements of high-rise buildings.
Requirements for new surface treatment processes
Key indicators for coated profiles:
- Initial peel strength ≥2.5N/mm
- ≥2.0N/mm after 6000h aging
- Color difference ΔE≤2 (decorative surface)
Special tests for painted profiles:
Must pass special coating tests such as cross-hatch adhesion level 0, pencil hardness ≥H, and chalking ≤level 2.
Implementation Recommendations
1. Selection Guidance
For coastal areas, it is recommended to use a polyurethane substrate + coating treatment combination, which has a screw pull-out bearing capacity ≥ 0.6kN/mm and can effectively resist typhoon loads.
2. Key Quality Control Points
- Raw Material Verification: Glass fiber must meet the alkali-free requirements of GB/T 18369
- Process Control: Resin insoluble content ≥85%
- Mandatory Inspection: Barcol Hardness ≥40
3. Testing Optimization Plan
It is recommended to configure key equipment such as a spectrophotometer (for color difference detection), a computer-controlled universal testing machine (for screw pull-out testing), and a xenon lamp aging chamber (for 6000h accelerated aging).
