Scope

This procedure is applicable to the design, production and installation of steel structures for residential buildings with 10 floors or more or with a building height greater than 28m and other high-rise civil buildings with a building height greater than 24m. For high-rise civil building steel structures with non-seismic fortification intensity and seismic design with seismic fortification intensity of 6 to 9 degrees, the applicable maximum height and structure type of the building shall comply with the relevant provisions of this regulation. This regulation does not apply to high-rise civil building steel structures constructed in dangerous areas and within the minimum seismic fracture avoidance distance.
