Physical performance requirements
The standard clearly distinguishes the technical indicators of film-forming primer and penetrating primer:
- Water permeability: External wall type I ≤0.3mL, type II ≤0.5mL
- Anti-salt-alkali performance: Type I has no abnormality for 120h, type II has no abnormality for 72h
- Reinforcement performance: Penetrating type must be ≥0.2MPa
Implementation suggestions
Material selection
Select the type of primer according to the base condition:
- High alkaline base: WDQ-CI type film-forming primer is preferred
- Loose porous base: WDQ-S-II type penetrating primer
- Indoor humid environment: NDQ-S type needs to pass 96h water resistance test
Key points for construction control
Standard 6.4.2 clearly stipulates:
- When the dilution ratio is clearly stated, take the middle value
- Brush coating amount calculation formula: m=ρ×S×80×10-4
- The interval between two constructions is ≥6h
Testing Method Innovation
The new version of the standard makes important improvements in the following testing methods:
