Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of glass and metal guardrails for construction. This standard applies to guardrails for civil building protection composed of metal railings and metal or glass material railings. This standard does not apply to guardrails with non-metal railing structures.
