Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cut (expanded) bottom mechanical anchors and back cut (expanded) bottom drill bits used in construction projects. This standard is applicable to mechanical anchor bolts for rear anchor connections using concrete as the base material in construction projects and special base expansion drill bits made of alloy steel. Those using other materials as the base material can be used as a reference.
