Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, basic regulations, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of self-operated differential pressure control valves for heating and air conditioning (hereinafter referred to as control valves). This standard applies to the manufacture and inspection of self-operated differential pressure control valves in central heating and central air conditioning circulating water (or glycol solution) systems.
