Scope
This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for port fixed cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes) in terms of design, manufacturing, installation, testing, use and maintenance, inspection and repair. This standard applies to cranes used for loading and unloading operations such as port general cargo and bulk cargo. Cranes used for container loading and unloading operations can also be used as a reference.
