Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the eight components of the SBS modified asphalt equipment: base asphalt heating unit, SBS feeding unit, premixing unit, dispersion unit, metering unit, additive unit, development unit and control unit. The equipment can be divided into the following categories according to the dispersion method:

Detailed explanation of key technical requirements
1. Temperature control system
The standard requires that the temperature control accuracy of each unit is ±3℃, among which:
- The matrix asphalt heating unit needs to be heated from 120-140℃ to 180-200℃ within 5 minutes
- The premixing tank and development tank must be equipped with bimetallic thermometers or platinum resistance thermometers
- The temperature of liquid additives needs to be controlled synchronously
2. Measurement accuracy standard
The actual application of a project shows that when the measurement error exceeds the standard requirement, the asphalt softening point will drop by 2-3℃ for every 0.5% increase in the SBS modifier content deviation. The metering accuracy specified in this standard is:
- Base asphalt: ±0.5%
- SBS modifier: ±0.3%
- Liquid additive: ±0.5%
Standard implementation recommendations
Equipment selection guide
Select the equipment model according to the production capacity requirements (such as GM-30 represents 30t/h colloid mill equipment). It is recommended to:
- Daily output <200 tons: select shearing machine equipment
- Continuous production conditions: give priority to colloid mill equipment
- Special additive processing: the hardness of the dispersed unit material needs to be verified (Rockwell hardness > 50)
Operation and maintenance management points
According to the requirements of GB 50650 and SH/T 3097, the following should be monitored:
- Check the static grounding resistance value every month (≤10Ω)
- Calibrate the measuring equipment every quarter
- Replace the grease of the agitator bearing of the development tank every 2000 hours of operation
