Analysis of the core content of the standard

JT/T 1287-2020 systematically standardizes for the first time the technical requirements for multimodal transport of passenger cars through ISO general containers, special containers for passenger car transport and their combination. The standard highlights three major innovations:

  • Equipment standardization: clarify key technical parameters such as the transport rack rated load ≥ 20kN and the breaking force of the lashing belt ≥ 20kN
  • Operation process standardization: establish a standardized process for 9 major links from site selection to unloading inspection
  • Safety systematization: build a three-dimensional safety assurance mechanism of personnel protection-equipment detection-process monitoring
