Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for materials, construction units, personnel, operating procedures, process testing, construction and quality inspection when conducting underwater partial drainage carbon dioxide protected semi-automatic welding. This standard is applicable to general strength steel structures with a yield strength less than 343MPa in water with a depth of 60m or less, for steel plates with a thickness of 3mm-20mm or steel pipes with a wall thickness of 3mm-20mm, a diameter (outer diameter) greater than 300mm (including 300mm), and a yield strength of less than 343MPa. Underwater partial drainage carbon dioxide protected semi-automatic welding.
