Introduction
Standard Framework and Technological Evolution
This standard replaces JT/T 533-2004, adds the classification of mineral fibers and polymer fibers, and expands 21 test methods. The main technical changes include:

Product classification and labeling system
The labeling system of material code + shape code + specification is adopted:
- Wood fiber: CF-XZ (floc)/CF-LZ (granular)
- Mineral fiber: MF-XZ (floc)/MF-SZ (bundle)
- Polymer fiber: PET-DS-12/10 (polyester monofilament)

Innovative test methods
Fiber density determination
Newly added liquid displacement method (Appendix I) and specific gravity bottle method (Appendix J) dual-track system:
- Mineral fiber requirement≥2.600g/cm³
- Polypropylene fiber needs to be controlled at0.910±0.040g/cm³
Granular fiber evaluation
Establish a new system of granulating agent content (Appendix M) and loose density (Appendix N):
- Particle diameter deviation ±1mm
- Screening increase after abrasion ≤11%
Implementation suggestions
- Fiber image analyzer should be used for length/diameter measurement (Appendix H)
- Polymer fiber acceptance requires additional curled fiber content detection (Appendix U)
- Mineral fibers should be verified for high temperature resistance and abrasion resistance (Appendix P)
