Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard establishes three major technical systems for helicopter spraying operations: equipment performance indicators, operation quality indicators and standardized testing procedures. It is applicable to the technical verification of mainstream models such as Schweizer S-300C and Robinson R44.
Comparative analysis of key indicators
| Technical parameters | Constant spraying | Low volume spraying | Ultra-low volume spraying |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spraying volume (L/hectare) | ≥30 | 5-30 | ≤5 |
| Droplet diameter (μm) | 250-400 | 150-250 | ≤150 |
| System flow rate (L/min) | ≥120 | 20-120 | ≤20 |
Key points of detection technology
Sampling layout specifications
Use water-sensitive paper/cobalt oxide glass slides as sampling media, and the sampling lines need to be arranged perpendicular to the flight direction with a spacing of 1-5m. Taking Bell 206B-II as an example, its typical spray width of 25-50m requires at least 15 sampling points.
Weather control requirements
- Wind speed ≤ 4m/s
- Temperature 20-30℃
- Relative humidity ≥ 50%
Implementation suggestions
Equipment selection and adaptation
According to the technical parameters in Appendix A, Airbus AS350 is suitable for large field operations (flight altitude 2-3m), while Enstrom F28F is more suitable for complex terrain (flight altitude 15-30m).
Quality control measures
- Regularly check the flow meter deviation rate ≤10%
- Droplet spectrum width (VMD/NMD) should meet the requirements of Table 3
- The drug loading should be reduced by 20% for plateau operations
Technology evolution analysis
Compared with the 1998 version of the terminology standard, this version adds digital image analysis technology for droplet diameter measurement, and the detection accuracy is improved to micron level. New electrostatic spray systems after 2020 need to pay special attention to the special requirements of droplet spectrum width indicators.
