4.6.1 Structural design

Light poles shall be designed in accordance with GB 50009 wind load and GB 50011 earthquake resistance codes. Basic wind pressure adjustment coefficient requirements:

  • Coastal area ×1.2
  • Mountainous area ×1.5
  • Pole top displacement ≤0.3% pole height

Maintenance precautions

  • Check the wear of the wire rope every quarter
  • Check the ground resistance <10Ω every year
  • Replace the lubricating oil of the worm gear box every 3 years
