Scope
This standard specifies the minimum design and performance requirements for trolleys, cargo bins and related components installed in the galleys and other areas of transport category aircraft, as well as installation requirements for use by storage compartment designers and equipment installers. This standard applies to, but is not limited to, the following equipment installed in transport aircraft galleys and other areas: a) Full-length vehicles and semi-length vehicles (mainly used to load drinks, luggage boxes, food, merchandise and garbage); b) Folding vehicles ; c) Item boxes (portable boxes, standard boxes and lunch boxes); d) Non-fixed related components stored in trolleys and/or kitchen storage compartments, such as drawers, trays, bin liners or other similar components. This standard does not fully cover the following: a) Trolleys or bins with self-contained mechanical refrigeration systems, electric motors, other electrical components or for dispensing beverages via a pressurized system. b) Design details for extended service life and continued airworthiness, as these details may vary depending on the following factors: 1) Overall design of the galley and food (beverage) system; 2) Human factors engineering desired by the operator; 3) Trolleys or cargo bins How to use and pay attention to; 4) Maintenance methods of trolleys or item boxes; c) Relevant requirements of civil aviation regulations, relevant public health regulations and/or design details, which cover the main requirements of cabin service personnel or aircraft manufacturers. equipment specifications.
