Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

MH/T 6121-2020, as a mandatory standard for the civil aviation industry, systematically regulates the design and manufacturing requirements of aviation fuel emission operation vehicles for the first time. This standard applies to special vehicles responsible for high-point exhaust, low-point drainage and impurity recovery in the airport fuel supply system, and is of great significance to ensuring the quality and safety of aviation fuel.

Innovative technical specifications

For the first time, the standard clearly requires that emission operation vehicles have a self-closing quick coupling and a power take-off interlocking function. The vehicle cannot move when the coupling is not reset (Article 4.2.5). At the same time, it is stipulated that:

  • Hose assembly resistance ≤1MΩ (Article 4.2.4)
  • Operation noise main operating surface ≤90dB(A) (Article 4.4.2)
  • Environmental adaptability -40℃~60℃ (Article 4.14)

Implementation suggestions

The procurement process should focus on checking:

  1. Whether the oil tank wave baffle complies with GB 18564.1
  2. Whether the hydraulic system is equipped with an anti-loosening overflow valve
  3. Whether a dual-way fire extinguisher (≥8kg×2) is equipped

Attention should be paid during the operation and maintenance stage:

  • Test the resistance value of the static conductive mopping belt every month
  • Clean the 40-mesh filter ball valve every quarter
  • Annual pressure test needs to reach 1.25 times the rated value
