Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
| Technical dimensions | MH/T 9010.1 requirements | Comparison with traditional aviation communications |
|---|---|---|
| Transmission rate | Edge rate ≥ 1Mbps (150km coverage) | Usually less than 500kbps |
| Mobility performance | Supports high-speed mobility of 1200km/h | Generally ≤800km/h |
| Spectrum efficiency | Downlink 5bps/Hz, Uplink 2.5bps/Hz | 1-3bps/Hz |
Key technical requirements
System architecture
The standard stipulates that the ATG system consists of an airborne terminal, an airborne antenna and a ground base station, and uses LTE technology to achieve:
- Seamless switching of multiple base stations (switching delay ≤150ms)
- Support carrier aggregation (5/10/15/20MHz bandwidth)
- MIMO dual reception function
Airworthiness certification requirements
Airborne equipment must pass:
- RTCA DO-160G environmental test
- DO-254 hardware certification
- DO-178C software certification
Typical case: A certain type of airborne terminal needs to complete 87 environmental tests to pass the CCAR25 airworthiness certification.
Implementation Suggestions
Network Deployment Strategy
It is recommended to adopt layered networking:
| Layer | Spacing | Coverage radius |
|---|---|---|
| Core base station | 200km | 150km |
| Supplementary base station | 100km | 80km |
Safety Protection Measures
- Physical isolation of the front cabin and passenger cabin
- Two-way SSL encrypted communication
- Log retention ≥ 6 months
