Scope
This standard specifies the safety performance requirements, test methods and inspection rules for flameproof low-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors used in coal mines. This standard applies to motors with rated voltages up to 1140V (hereinafter referred to as motors) used in coal mines with methane explosion risks.
