Key technical requirements

The standard puts forward strict specifications for the supercapacitor power supply device:

  • Insulation performance: Insulation resistance of pole to shell ≥8MΩ (at rated voltage 300V)
  • Temperature adaptability: Maintain more than 70% capacity under -20℃~+40℃ environment
  • Safety protection: Double voltage protection (alarm voltage error of ±5V, forced shutdown at cut-off voltage)

Innovative test method

The standard pioneered the gas evolution test detection method: It adopts 3 times the rated current charge and discharge cycle, collects gas by drainage method, and requires that the supercapacitor still does not exhaust when the voltage is overcharged by 20%, to ensure underground explosion-proof safety.


Implementation recommendations

  1. Establish a capacitor health monitoring system and force replacement when the capacity decays to 70% of the initial value
  2. The layout of charging stations should meet the endurance radius requirement of 2km intervals
  3. Perform insulation resistance tests regularly (formula: R≥0.025U, unit kΩ)
